MOS Launches 503B Production with a Focus on Reliability and Expansion
Now that McGuff Outsourcing Solutions (MOS) is licensed as a California 503B outsourcing facility, our focus shifts from licensure to execution, supply stability, and expansion.
1. Manufacturing for Inventory — Not Just Launch
MOS is actively manufacturing the initial 503B products to build inventory ahead of release.
Our goal is simple: once a product becomes available, it stays available.
We are deliberately producing inventory in advance to:
- Reduce backorders and interruptions
- Support predictable clinic scheduling
- Ensure continuity of care for your patients
We are building MOS to be a reliable, long-term source, not a stop-and-start supplier.
2. Initial Product Releases (California)
The following sterile 503B products are in production for California-licensed customers:
- Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) Injection Solution – 40 mg/mL, 15 mL SDV
- Reduced L-Glutathione Injection Solution – 200 mg/mL, 30 mL MDV
- Methylcobalamin Injection Solution – 5,000 mcg/mL, 30 mL MDV
- Procaine HCl Injection Solution – 20 mg/mL, 30 mL MDV
Product release timing will be communicated as inventory is finalized and lots are released.
3. Focus on Consistency and Reliability
MOS operates within a manufacturing environment designed for:
- Batch-based production
- Lot-release testing
- Environmental and in-process controls
- Scalable output as demand grows
This infrastructure allows us to consistently support clinics rather than sporadically.
This approach reflects MOS’s origins within a commercial pharmaceutical manufacturing organization rather than a stand-alone compounding model.
4. National Expansion Underway
With California licensure complete, MOS is actively pursuing licensure in additional states.
